The Stingray Fedar FD5193E features a micropiezo printhead, which supports variable dot technology and a maximum 3200dpi output. The printer was showcased at the Sign Africa and FESPA Africa Expo, which took place from 11-13 September.
The printer also features: a bulk ink system – a transparent ink tank is used with an ink level alarm system; unique 2D edge-feather function, which helps cover banding caused by missing nozzles; auto take up device with a tension bar and auto media sensor and head protection unit.
Also showcased were HEXIS THE190EVO films and the BodyFence range. THE190EVO is the next generation of high-performance, printable cast PVC film with Take Heat Easy technology. This ultra-conformable cast vinyl guarantees a top quality result whilst shortening the application time.
The film is ideal for: full wraps, vehicle fleets, boat coverings and interior decoration.
The BodyFence range is a transparent adhesive film. At the cutting edge of technology, it will protect your vehicle against external aggressions: scratches, stone chips, abrasion and UV rays. Furthermore, the film will act to facilitate cleaning by preventing dirt from sticking to the paintwork and features a gloss finish.
